Ames Starr is the most creative raw chef in town! With more than ten years experience with raw food, Ames has got more than a few tricks up her sleeve that she loves to pass on.
She has run her own restaurant (and recently opened Brisbane’s first plant-based deli!), consulted on others (both in Oz and OS), runs a regular market stall at Brisbane’s only organic market, started Brisbane’s first and only raw food night, catered for many special events and people, and countless other fun things, like guest cheffing at Sofitel Singapore City Centre, and teaching a bunch of APAC’s best chefs for Accor Hotels F&B Academy. She has been teaching her amazing raw recipes and techniques to tons of eager students for almost ten years. She knows her shiz!

Ames’ Raw Food Classes in Brisbane are always planned so as to cram as much as possible into a short space of time. Never one of those classes where you spend 3 hours and learn two dishes, and get a spoonful of each. No freakin’ way. You will walk away from these classes stuffed full, of both knowledge and food, armed with more raw arsenal than you’ll know what to do with!
All of our classes include all original recipes and notes, and ridiculously generous tastings / take homes of everything we make.
